Frequently Asked Questions

The following is for all of our future friends and sailors - this info usually answer everyone's most asked questions. Please be sure to share this information with the rest of your crew at least a few days prior to your sail, so everyone can plan accordingly.

If you find yourself with further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to the captain via phone or email!

How do I book a charter?

Due to the custom nature of the sails we offer, we only book by phone. You can call Captain Pascal from 9am–7pm 7 days a week. When you call to book, it's best to have 2-3 options for dates and times that work for your crew, and know what type of charter you are interested in.

What do I bring? What do I wear?

It’s generally about 10 degrees cooler out on the water than it is on land and, this being New England, the weather can shift rapidly. Even on the hottest summer days we recommend bringing a pullover or sweater and/or a windbreaker.

We do not wear shoes on the vessel (with very few exceptions)

If you plan on swimming, please bring your bathing suit and a towel.

Hats are great for sun safety, but if your wide-brimmed hat doesn’t have a cord to secure it to your head it will fly away with the wind! Baseball caps are generally a safe bet.

We will provide life jackets to children under the age of 14 and have adult life jackets available for those who want them.

Witch of Endor Sailing Charters are not responsible for your technology - phones, cameras, and any other water-sensitive equipment is brought on board at your own risk.

Food & Beverages Onboard

All charters include bottled water and lemon sparkling water on ice. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres are served on charters 2.5 hours or longer, as long as the winds are less than 20 knots, or they can be prepared during the charter time while on the mooring or at anchor. One way sails will almost always include hors d’oeuvres. Captain Pascal provides a selection of fresh organic fruits, gourmet cheeses, charcuterie, and baguette.

If you’re bringing cocktails and will want a large amount of ice, you can coordinate that with the Captain.

No red wines or other red beverages in open containers.

Bathrooms: we do have a bathroom on board but the holding tank is not very large - for this reason, we ask that you please use the bathrooms ahead of time if possible.

Cancellation Policy:

There is a 20% service fee for any cancellations. Refunds are available with 30 days notice of the reservation date. If cancellations are made with less than 30 days notice, we will do our best to rebook the charter. If we are able to rebook the date the deposit will be refunded, less the service fee. If we cannot rebook the date the deposit is then forfeited. No refunds will be given for late arrivals or early departures.  Rain shall not necessarily constitute a reason for cancellation or rescheduling. In the case of extreme weather, the Captain and Charter guests shall discuss a mutually convenient date to reschedule the charter.
